During the 9 months I have been here at OrderWise, I have noticed that some customers do not know when, or even if, their data is being backed up or how regularly. To me this is a very important issue, as there may be an occasion where you need to restore to a recent OrderWise backup.

It’s good practice to have your data backed up once a day. This can be done within OrderWise by opening Data Input and then clicking the “Backup & Restore” button. Alternatively you could you have an automated backup performed on your server at a time when there are no users on the system.

You can keep as many backups as you want to, but as the collection grows do keep an eye of the disk space they are taking up, and consider how far back you want be able to restore.

You can always call us here in Support for advice regarding backups on 01522 704083 or send us an email (supportorderwisecouk) .
