Hi,
I’m Kevin. My main role at OrderWise is to integrate our clients’ web sites into their OrderWise systems. Perceptive eyes would have read ‘main role’ – my other responsibilities here are to maintain our web sites. (I’ll be blogging a lot about this over the coming few months.) As part of maintaining our web sites, there will be some exciting changes with regards to our blog; there’s going to be a lot of useful, informative (and perhaps occasionally humourous) information here. Because I’ve been part of the team administrating the blog, I thought it was time for me to get blogging.
As I deal a lot with technology, it’s part of my constitution to be interested in new gadgets. (Some people may refer to this type of person as as a geek!) My most recent toy is Apple’s iPhone 4. I’m not writing here to tell you how wonderful and life-changing this little device of joy is (though it is), but rather to let you know that if you have an iPhone, you can now view our blog extremely easily. When you visit our blog address (which is what you’re looking at now), if you are reading the display on an iPhone screen then you’ll see that the layout is similar to what you’d expect of an iPhone app. You can search for blog posts or find all posts within a certain category by clicking on the downwards-pointing arrow towards the top-right hand corner of the screen. If you have any suggestions for how we can improve on how our blog looks on an iPhone please leave a comment below.
